Visit of a beekeeper
Last week second graders took part in an educational and natural science workshop entitled “We get to know the world of bees and the beekeeper’s workshop”. We learned how honey is made, whether bees sleep in winter, who rules in the hive and who cleans it, why bees are important to us, how they pollinate the flowers, what we can do to protect them, what a day in a beekeeper’s life looks like.
We also managed to make candles ourselves.
