Grade 4 Inquirers
Grade 4 students developed a learner profile attribute – an inquirer.
During the Science class, they asked the question: What will happen if we put a white flower in water with ink? They knew that plants need water, but what happens if we put it in a blue liquid instead of just water? It was necessary to conduct an experiment.
We didn’t have to wait long for the effects. To our surprise on the next day, the flower which was put into coloured water turned blue!
Now they know that the phenomenon is related to the flow of water in the plant and the capillary action.
We encourage parents and children to experiment at home. Satisfaction guaranteed! 🙂 Future Inquirers! Maybe you will use red ink instead of blue?
