Kamienica Theater “The Sun of Copernicus”
On April 19, both first graders – 1a and 1b, went on a trip to the Kamienica theater to see a performance titled “The Sun of Copernicus”. The trip was planned on the occasion of the newly launched unit of inquiry “How the world works”. Students not only had the opportunity to watch live acting, but also gained knowledge about the life and many achievements of the most famous astronomer in the world, Nicolaus Copernicus. They learned about the geocentric theory and the heliocentric theory created by Copernicus.
