On September 28, a group of students from the PYP and MYP programs from grades 3-8 developed the attitude of the IB Student Profile “Risk Taker”, when they competed with peers from other schools during individual cross-country running competitions. The memorial commemorating Bronisław Malinowski, the 1980 Olympic Champion from Moscow over a distance of 3,000 meters with obstacles, took place, as every year, in Dolinka Służewiecka.

The school was proudly represented by 20 students. Each of them fought until the end for the highest possible position and cheered on others during the races. Participating in this type of runs is not only about peer competition, but also about getting used to stress, overcoming one’s own weaknesses, coming to terms with failure and learning to cheer. That is why students from the PYP program also took part in the competition, gaining their first experience and observing their older colleagues.
