Bronze medals in ringo
On Thursday, April 25, the youth team of our school won BRONZE MEDALS, repeating last year’s result during the Mokotów RINGO Championship. Ringo is a sports polish game invented by the famous fencer and journalist Włodzimierz Strzyżewski over 50 years ago. It combines the rules of volleyball, tennis and badminton and involves throwing a ringo over a net/band according to strictly defined rules. It requires high physical fitness from the players, in particular agility, dexterity and excellent reaction time, especially during doubles or mixed triples, when two ringo rings are played at the same time. The team consisting of Gaja, Ruby, Maja, Bruno, Tymon and Borjan (all from grade 8) calmly entered the finals and, after a very even match, finally finished the competition in third place. Congratulations!
