The finals of the Warsaw Youth Olympics in cross-country races
On October 6, the finals of the Warsaw Youth Olympics in cross-country races took place. The 7 best people from the district in individual age categories, including two students from our school, qualified for the finals. Julia (6B) was present at this stage of the competition for the first time and she managed to finish the run about halfway, which is a great start to her running adventure. On the other hand, the already more experienced Kalina (3LO) defeated most of the rivals in great style at the distance of 1500 m, finally finishing in 9th position. The next stage of the struggle is the Provincial Championships, which will take place in the spring and the pandemic situation in the country will depend on the performance of our student at these competitions.
