Day 3. Friday 24th- Nigeria, grade 6A
The festival ‘Around the world in 6 days’ this time came to… Nigeria! This most populous country on the African continent hosted the third instalment of our extraordinary adventure. Grade 6 showed a presentation during which the most important information about the geography and culture of this beautiful country was given. Additional attractions awaited all guests. Helena and Weronika taught our students traditional Nigerian dance, and Marcel, Leon and Mikołaj presented posters about local cuisine and the most important national symbols. The acquired knowledge came in handy when it came to our “balloon quiz”. It turned out that the main decorative elements – white and green balloons hid a surprise. After piercing one of them, a piece of paper with a question about Nigeria fell out. When our participants answered correctly, they could choose snacks from a table full of Nigerian delicacies. At the end, everyone could record a movie in the Nollywood style with their participation. It was an exciting day!
