Cultural Festival “Around the world in 6 days” DAY 6. AUSTRALIA
On the last day of the Festival, students of grade 7 took their friends on a trip to the distant outskirts – to an amazing country Australia. We learned basic facts about the geography and history of this country, including the explanation of a mysterious term: the war between man and emu. We learned about the most popular Australian delicacies and also discovered that many very famous actors from the Hollywood stardom can boast of Australian descent. There were also some interesting facts about examples of fauna and flora that can be found on this fascinating continent. Finally, we felt the thrill of sports when we heard about the disciplines popular in Australia. After part of the presentation, all guests of grade 7 could test their knowledge and skills by participating in the tournament. The prize was the best Australian delicacies.
