XXVI National Competitions of STO and Non-Public Schools in Swimming

On April 21-22, 18 representatives of our school competed in the XXVI NATIONAL COMPETITIONS OF STO AND NON-PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN SWIMMING which took place in Ciechanów. Schools from Warsaw, Radom, Ciechanów, Łódź, Kraków, Mikołajki and Białystok joined the competition.

After two days of sports struggles at the swimming pool, we managed to take 8th place in the team score and many valuable results:

  • Vlad (3B) – 3rd place in 25m backstroke
  • Natasza (8A) – 3rd place in the 50m freestyle and 4th in the 50m backstroke
  • RELAY 4x50m freestyle WITH: Ruby (7A), Nina (6A), Ijola (6A), Emilia (5A) – 3rd place
  • RELAY 4x25m freestyle WITH: Ira (3A), Michalina (3B), Maja (4A), Zara (5A) – 6th place
  • Zara (5A) – 5th place in 25m backstroke
  • Michalina (3B) – 6th place in the 25m backstroke
  • Natalia (8A) – 5th place in the 50m backstroke
  • Jagoda (8A) – 4th place in 50m freestyle, 6th place in 50m backstroke
  • Ruby (7A) – 6th place in 50m freestyle, 4th place in 100m individual medley
  • Feliks (2A) – 7th place in the 25m backstroke
  • Franek (8A) – 6th place in the 100m individual medley
  • Maja (4A) – 6th place in the 25m breaststroke
  • Elliott (4A) – 5th place in 25m butterfly
  • Ira (3A) – 4th place in the 25m butterfly
  • Emilia (5A) – 5th place in the 50m butterfly
  • Michał (8A) – 11th place in the 50m backstroke
  • Gleb (1A) – 16th place in the 25m backstroke
  • Nina (6A) – 20th place in 50m breaststroke
  • Liola (6A) – 11th place in the 50m backstroke

Of course, between the sports struggles during the trip, we found time for integration while going out for ice cream, having fun in the hotel meadow or playing board games.

Summing up, our brave representatives managed to win 3 medals and 17 places in the final races. Congratulations to all our representatives. Well done for your commitment during additional trainings preparing for the trip and the competition itself. Bravo!

From this place, also a huge thank you to the irreplaceable School Driver – Mr. Piotr and the main coach of the school swimming pool – Coach Łukasz for help in organizing the trip.
