UOI “Understanding the properties of air allows people to have practical applications” 3rd graders
As part of the UOI “Understanding the properties of air allows people to have practical applications”, 3rd graders took a trip to the Planetarium in Warsaw. We learned what it feels like to be an astronaut who goes to space or wander around the International Space Station. In class, students studied the properties of the air through interesting experiments and built kites! We were real inquirers and thinkers- our experiments were safe and planned.
For end of the project we prepared highly educational posters and booklets for our school community on air pollution and how to reduce it.
Also, we took a risk and strengthened our action by going out to the local community to distribute our booklets in the neighborhood . We also took the brochures to the nearby library. On that day, our communication skills developed at an amazing pace. Let’s take care of our planet together!
