Kids Kino Film Festival
Yesterday, grades 5th and 6th of MYP went with their homeroom teachers to the Kinoteka Cinema to take part in the 9th Cinema Kids International Film Festival. The students watched a Canadian film of 2020 entitled: ‘My life is a circus’. It tells a story of a smart girl Laura, whose dad is a circus clown. Although her life is far from ordinary, her problems of growing up, finding friends, her relationship with her parent and finding her identity proved to be close to every teenager.
After the film, students had the opportunity to share their opinions about the festival and their reflections on a special wall prepared for it.
The students confirmed that school trip to the cinema for a worthwhile film is always a good idea!
