Autumn Monnet Table Tennis Championship
On Tuesday, October 11, our “tennis dojo” traditionally hosted the AUTUMN MONNET INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP. For the first time, the number of participants from classes 3-4 PYP, 5-8 MYP and 1 Pre-DP forced the organizers to schedule the games on 4 tables.
In the first part, the competition took place in individual categories, in which the best ones turned out to be: Maria (1Pre-DP), Zosia (8A), Stanisław (4B), Leon (6A) and Alan (7B). After the rivalry was over, all players started the OPEN games in the “to two losers” formula. Here, after over 35 tough matches, Alan (7B) was the best again, ahead of Tymon (8A) and Leon (6A). Fourth place went to Albert (6A), 5- Mikołaj (4B) and our last year’s Champion of Mokotów – Zosia (8A) was sixth.
All matches were played according to the fair-play principle in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The tournament was at an extremely high level, which fills us with optimism before the upcoming Santa Claus School Championships and the Mokotów Championships scheduled for December.
