Around the world in 6 days – summary
Every journey comes to an end. Our trip “Around the world in 6 days” came to an end on the last day of March, last Friday. On that day, grades 4 of PYP visited the Primary School in Belwederska street. They got acquainted with the idea and purpose of the Cultural Week project, saw the decorations of all grades, and representatives of each grade 5-8 of MYP introduced their younger colleagues to the world of presented countries. They gave the most important and interesting information, told how their presentation went, and also showed its most interesting elements.
The cultural festival “Around the world in 6 days” was initiated by headmistress Hanna Buśkiewicz-Piskorska, and was organized and coordinated by Marta Torres, a Spanish teacher and Aleksander Jarnicki, an English teacher, and other MYP form teachers. Graphics promoting the event were created by Marta Pokorska, an art teacher, and classroom decorations were created under the supervision of Katarzyna Grajkowska, a design teacher.
Thank you all for your enthusiasm, commitment and time spent together. It was an unforgettable adventure that we hope to repeat next year! 😃
