An educational picnic in the park
Class 1a, exploring the knowledge as part of the unit “How we organize ourselves”, could not resist the temptation to use the warm May days to study in the field. Expanding their knowledge according to the central idea of the unit “Many products go through a process of change before they are consumed or used.” They prepared some healthy snacks and went on a picnic in order to discuss goodness of the food they brought, the importance of physical activity while playing tag, conscious shopping and the environmental impact of our food choices, as well as ways to store a variety of foods. In addition to developing culinary skills or raising awareness, students had the opportunity to catch up with social arrears in the distance learning period and cooperate.
