Winter Games of Private Schools in Zakopane

From February 26 to March 2, willing students participated in a trip to a sports competition – the Winter Games of Private Schools in Zakopane combined with the White School. Over 700 students from 27 private schools from all over Poland took part in the competition.

Our representatives competed bravely in three competitions:

1) SKATING, where they won the following places:

• Tosia B. (7A): 22nd place
• Tosia M. (7A): 24th place
• Valentina (7A): 30th place
• Leon (7A): 38th place
• Michalina (6A): 41st place
• Ania (4B): 43rd place
• Gabrysia (4B): 44th place
• Zara (6A): 81st place
• Helena (7A): 83rd place

2) DOWNLOAD SKIING, where we managed to place in the following positions:

• Henryk (3DP): 5th place
• Tosia B. (7A): 10th place
• Tosia M. (7A): 12th place
• Leon (7A): 16th place
• Stanisław (7A): 18th place
• Maksymilian (2Pre-DP): 19th place
• Julia (2Pre-DP): 20th place
• Gabrysia (4B): 23rd place
• Maciej (3DP): 26th place
• Marysia (2Pre-DP): 27th place
• Ania (4B): 33rd place
• Michalina (6A): 44th place
• Helena (7A): 60th place

3) SNOWBOARDING, where they achieved results:

• Leon (7A): 2nd place
• Filip (3DP): 2nd place
• Helena (1Pre-DP): 8th place
• Nelly (2Pre-DP): 9th place

In the overall points for all starts, the highest placed were:

• Leon (7A): 13th place out of 123 participating boys classified in the second category
• Tosia B. (7A): 27th place
• Tosia M. (7A): 29th place
• Filip (2Pre-DP): 28th place
• Nelly (2Pre-DP): 33rd place
• Stanisław (7A): 39th place
• Gabrysia (4B): 53rd place out of 114 classified

In the team scoring in the Secondary Schools category, our representatives took 7th place. Additionally, in the ski race, Mrs. Emilia won 3rd place among teachers.

Apart from the competition, we found time for skiing classes, going to the thermal baths, bowling alleys or playing a top-class hockey game. It was a great 6 days for which we thank you!
