High school students visit France
In mid-November students from the French group, under the care of Mrs Renata Dziura and Mrs Agata Szaryńska-Szlaz, visited Antibes in southern France.
Our trip titled “Les voyages forment la jeunesse” was a chance to perfect our language skills and discover the beauty of the region.
Each day, before noon, we participated in French language lessons at Centre International d’Antibes.
On the afternoon of our first day we travelled to Cannes. The following day, we discovered Marché Provençal and the Picasso Museum in Antibes. Then, we went to Nicea, where we visited the Musée d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporain and we enjoyed the beautiful views of the Promenade des Anglais. The following day, we were also lucky to discover the secrets of perfume production at the Parfumerie Fragonard w Grasse. Thanks to these attractions, we enjoyed views, scents and tastes of Souther France. Quelle chance!!!
On Friday we completed our French language lessons with << Pan bagnat >> workshops, during which we prepared fragrant Provencal sandwiches. We spent Saturday in Monaco, touring the Musée Océanographique and admiring the beautiful city-state. On Sunday we summed up our stay in Antibes during language classes on the beach. We returned impressed, happy and infatuated with the Mediterranean climate, style and tradition.
November in Côte d’Azur truly strengthens the joy of learning!
