Two days trip – 3rd graders PYP
On March 31 – April 1, there was a class trip for 3a and 3b PYP students, as part of two units of inquiry: “Communities provide interconnected services designed to meet people’s needs” and “Our rights and responsibilities of a community towards its disabled members”. We went to Folwark Łochów, where the Lena Grochowska Foundation supporting people with intellectual disabilities conducts artistic handicraft workshops.
Gained experiences are helpful in better understanding of the surrounding world and sensitize to the needs of other people. There were also games outside, a fire and an evening walk with flashlights.
