The PYP Exhibition Final 

On 24 April 2024, the PYP Exhibition Final took place, which is the culmination of months of Grade 4 persistent work, but also an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills gained during their learning journey through PYP. Grade 4 students shared their passions with the school community and invited guests and inspired others to take action or think critically about the topics discussed. 

The students of classes 4a and 4b, together with their mentors, worked hard for 8 months on their units. All groups were united by one common transdisciplinary theme: Sharing the Planet. Each group chose different globally and locally important issues, focusing on the 4 Sustainable Development Goals: life below water, life on land, sustainable cities and climate action.

The groups: Underwater Heroes, Green Land Protectors, Here! Now! Climate! and Clean Energy in Citites presented research findings, reflections, experiments, artwork and models they had made.  

Their projects demonstrated not only their skills and knowledge, but also their empathy, critical thinking and commitment to making a positive impact on the world around you. 

Our heartfelt thanks to all the teachers, school staff, mentors and parents who supported our students every step of the way. Your help allowed them to shine on the Final Day!

– Ms Elena Muratova for the workshop on sewing eco-friendly bags with the Underwater Heroes group 

– Mr Hubert Adamczyk for photographing the Final and capturing the beautiful moments

– A&M Motyka Angelika Motyka for making commemorative pin badges for each group

– Mr Robert Romanowski, known as Rob the Builder, for coming to our school and helping to make the bounce houses with the CEIC group.
