New unit of inquiry – a trip to the museum
Just a week ago, class 1b has started a new unit of inquiry about products and we immediately jumped into action. We organized a trip to the Ethnographic Museum for classes: “Tailor-made lesson”. Students had the opportunity to learn more about the origins of selected materials. We read clothing labels, touched different materials, saw old sewing machines, looms and spindles, and even sewed! The most important thing is that we had a great time gaining multi-sensory knowledge about the processes of making clothes.
