Jazz Week
On Tuesday, eighth grade students presented their vocal and dance skills during a performance on the occasion of the cultural “Jazz Week”. The concert was the result of an interdisciplinary MYP project prepared by a music teacher Magdalena Skawińska and an English teacher Aleksander Jarnicki. Through the joint venture, students learned jazz standards and rare dance steps. During the course on “Language and Literature”, students got to know the main representatives of the American literary movement “Harlem Renaissance “. During the performance, we had the opportunity to listen to a few poems by the poet Langston Hughes, who represented this interesting aspect of American culture. Big applause for our students!!!
