Successful Expedition to the South Pole
Last week, our guestspeaker Jacek Libucha, Marianna’s dad, has visited grade 4. On January, 5th 2020, solo, unsupported, unaided he reached the South Pole. He is the third Pole who did it. During the meeting he talked about his 53-day expedition and proved that being a risk taker, setting personal goals and being consistent can lead us to great successes. We also got to know what equipment is needed to survive in extreme conditions, we put up a tent and we even tasted freeze-dried food.
We are thankful for inspiring meeting.
