¡Adiós Madrid! ¡Te echaremos de menos!
Our incredibly intense week in Madrid has come to an end. We took away with us a lot of wonderful memories! We returned with new and valuable experiences! “Travel broadens the mind”, but the one in a group of class mates has a special power.
Over the past few days, we have spent a lot of time together and have done everything together. We learned together in Spanish lessons, explored the squares, streets and avenues of the city, visited the Queen Sofia Museum, the Royal Palace and other important monuments. Many times we got lost in the underground, shared Spanish tapas, delighted in flamenco.
Together, complementing and helping each other, we had conversations in Spanish with the families we stayed with.
On the last day, we all had a great time together in the Retiro Park playing movement and integration games, and later relaxed sailing on the lake. Afterwards, we took part in a cooking course, where we prepared two Spanish dishes and a dessert together. We enjoyed everything exceptionally. Maybe because we cooked them together and ate it at one big table?
From this trip, we bring back positive Spanish energy and sunshine, but above all we have gained confidence that we can rely on each other, we are good for each other and together we can do more.
