“The languages of Art” – thursday
The fourth day of “The Languages of Art” festival begins with Frédéric Chopin’s song “Życzenie” performed by Magdalena Skawińska. One of the most famous songs of Chopin was composed in 1827. The lyrics were written by the romantic poet Stefan Witwicki, privately a friend of Chopin. Julia Laurosiewicz from the seventh grade plays Waltz in A minor B. 150 Op. Posth. An interesting fact is that the waltz was published already after the death of Frédéric Chopin and its authenticity was confirmed only in the 1950s. Congratulations to Julia for a beautiful interpretation!!!
