Vice Champions of Mokotów

Last week, basketball players competed in the YOUTH category on the sports hall at Niegocińska Street. After a week of struggle, many minutes of fierce matches and additional training during the team of our school, we managed to win the title of VICE CHAMPIONS OF MOKOTÓW and one of the MVP of the finals was our captain, Karol.

The team consisting of: Karol (captain), Antonii, Adam, Tadeusz, Lew, Julian, Natan, Tymon, Jordan, Filip suffered their only defeat in the grand final at the end of the tournament! 17 schools took part in the Championships and during the entire tournament we played the following matches:

GROUP MATCH: SSP 14 (BACHMACKA) – MONNET INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (3-31) VICTORY

GROUP MATCH: SP 46 – MONNET INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (16-17) VICTORY

SEMI-FINAL: SP 20  im. Jana Gutenberga – MONNET INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (17-24) VICTORY

SECOND PLACE MATCH: SP 33 – MONNET INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (9-24) VICTORY

GRAND FINAL: SP 212 – MONNET INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (22-17) DEFEAT

Well done boys! Patience pays off over the years and there is finally a longed-for medal during the Mokotów Championship!
