Unique meeting with Ecuador
On May 18th the students of the 7th and the 8th grade took part in a unique meeting with Erika Martillo Naranjo – an Ecuadorian diplomat, a former consul of her country in Poland, currently residing in Sweden.
The meeting was held in Spanish.
The students had the opportunity to get to know Ecuador and its wonderful four worlds: the Amazon, the Pacific Coast, the Andes and the Galapagos Islands. They discovered the most beautiful places and the most interesting species of animals and plants by watching a short film about Ecuador and a private photo gallery of our guest. They also learned what the work of a diplomat looks like, and what its shadows and bright spots are. They understood how an embassy functions and what its basic duties are .
The meeting had a form of an interview in which the students received answers to their own, previously prepared questions.
We would like to thank Erika Martillo Naranjo for an interesting story, introducing the students to her world and the time she devoted to us. We would like to congratulate the 7th and 8th grade students for co-creating the meeting, and for mastering good communication skills in Spanish.
iHasta la próxima!
