As part of the PYP Exhibition actions, grade 4 organised fairs where they sold homemade products, snacks and second-hand items such as toys and books. Thanks to the tremendous commitment of the entire school community, funds were raised to support many important initiatives.

The money raised was donated to specific causes:

• “Underwater Stars” – PLN 397.88 for a one-off porpoise adoption with WWF  and PLN 1,000 for seal rehabilitation at the University of Gdańsk Marine Station in Hel,
• “Clean Water Guards” – PLN 507.50 to UNICEF to assist with the water crisis in the Horn of Africa and PLN 507.50 to PAH to ensure access to water and toilets worldwide,
• “Great Health Guardians” – PLN 570.20 to the Society for the Care of the Blind in Laski.
• The “Climate Heroes” group showed particular initiative, donating the funds they raised – 1,071.25 PLN – to purchase potted plants for the school. Thanks to this, the school’s spaces will be greener, friendlier and full of life.

These activities have shown that our oldest PYP students have huge hearts, are able to work together, and care for both people and animals.
