The colours of science

Dear Teachers, Dear Students!

The 2021/2022 school year began almost three months ago. New students came to the school, but those well-known to us not only grew up during the summer break, but – I suppose – are also full of new ideas. The school is teeming with life again: the corridors echo with the sounds of our students and the staff room is filled with lively discussions.

Outside, it is sometimes blistering, the next wave of  the pandemic keeps on bothering us and – unfortunately – we feel that winter is fast approaching, nevertheless, this autumn is still full of colour.

This is an important moment – a year has passed since our quarterly was founded, so we offer you an intriguing theme: the colours of science. Our pages will feature Chemistry in a … poetic edition, we will also get to know the secrets of a certain Mathematical equation and learn how Mathematics can be combined with theatre. We will also get acquainted with the biography of the famous Polish Nobel laureate and we will explore the scientific and fantastic secrets of Physics a bit. There will even be the topic of fishing, which – to our surprise – also has something to do with Physics. There will be cooking, art and poetry, and sports fans will also find something for themselves …

And for dessert – the first part of a novel in episodes!

Gazeta Monneta has also developed linguistically. Inspired by last year’s multilingual poetry festival, we are launching a Spanish-language section at our magazine. We are most likely the first trilingual school quarterly in Poland !!!

I would therefore like to thank and congratulate all students and teachers involved in our project. Feel free to walk together through the beautiful and colourful meanders of Science !!!
