Technology under control – activities of the Team Anti Screen group
During preparations for the PYP Exhibition Final, the Team Anti Screen group has been working intensively to raise awareness about the impact of screens on our lives!
So far, we have conducted a workshop with a psychologist, during which we discussed the topics of addiction and overuse of mobile phones.
We also met with Mr. Bolesław Michalski to reflect together on the role of technology in our daily lives and to talk about online safety.
We organized a school event for parents called “Free Kids from Screen”, where we shared information about the consequences of excessive phone use and presented statistics on the amount of time children and adults in Europe spend on social media.
The father of one of our students led a special workshop on online safety — we discussed how internet scams work and how social media platforms are designed to keep users engaged for as long as possible.
We prepared and distributed leaflets to parents about household screen rules to promote the development of healthier screen habits within families.
Later, we organized a charity fair — all proceeds will be donated to „Fundacja Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę” to support education about safe Internet use for children.
We are proud to be making a positive difference in our community!
