Santa’s Table Tennis Tournament

On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in the afternoon, the annual SANTA’S TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT was played. There were almost 30 students! of our school at the start of the competition and the struggle itself took place on 5 tables at the same time!

At the beginning, all participants joined the OPEN tournament “OF THE PE TEAM CUP” where the best turned out to be: Leon (6A), Alan (7B), Alex (6A), Jordan (8A), Albert (6A) and Tymon (8A) .

Then tournaments were played in individual age categories, where the winners were awarded commemorative medals:

Boys from grades 3-5:

• 1st place- Liev (5A)
• 2nd place – Santa (4B)
• 3rd place – Timur (5B)

Girls from grades 3-5:

• 1st place – Frania (4B)
• 2nd place – Ola (3A)
• 3rd place – Ala (3A)

Boys from grades 6-8:

• 1st place- Leon (6A)
• 2nd place – Alan (7B)
• 3rd place – Alex (6A)

Girls from grades 6-8:

• 1st place – Zosia (8A)
• 2nd place – Emilia (5A)
• 3rd place- Liola (6A)

A novelty during this year’s tournament was the fitness competition related to table tennis – “Who will collect the coach’s service?!?” where for those who managed to collect the title service – sweet prizes in the form of Christmas lollipops, canes or sports bottles were waiting.

The tournament lasted almost 3 hours, during which over 100 duels were played. The youngest participant was 8 years old and the oldest 14.
