Monnet Festival of Languages – the celebration of linguistic diversity in the PYP

Today, the PYP community was alive with greetings in multiple languages as we celebrated the Monnet Festival of Languages! As every year in September during this festival, we celebrated linguistic diversity.    

Each class has prepared a performance in a chosen language: Italian, Spanish, Czech, Serbian, Irish, French, Slovak, Greek or Sign language. There were songs, dances, role-plays, posters, art works and poems.  

We also had a special moment to honor all the classes for their hard work with certificates of participation. Congratulations to all our talented students and their teachers for making today such a wonderful event! 

The fun doesn’t stop here!  There is an exciting follow-up activity: “Multilingual Challenge” for volunteer students!
