Kunkush Cat – Grade 4 Art Creations
According to our current unit of inquiry about migration, grade 4 students got familiar with the real story of Kunkush – “a refugee cat”. Firstly, they got aquatinted with reportage as a genre then they listened to the story by Ewa Nowak entitled: ‘The cat, who lost his home’. The book covers the issues of: wars in the Middle East, refugees fleeing to Europe, losing home and everything they owned.
Inspired by the story they painted pieces of art.
