FWP Team Tackles Food Waste – radio broadcast, expert meeting, and field activities
Our group, FWP Team, participated in a morning radio broadcast on Polish Radio Dzieciom. During the recording, we talked about the issues related to food waste and ways to prevent it.
Additionally, we met with Dr. Paulina Sobiesiak-Penszko, an expert and analyst, as well as the director of the Sustainable Development and Climate Policy Program at the Institute of Public Affairs. We discussed food waste issues, the food production process, and the challenges modern farmers face.
On March 25, 2025, we took part in a “trash walk” and visited a nearby food-sharing fridge (Jadłodzielnia). We learned how it works, what products can be donated, and even recorded a video about it.
