As part of the project “Where We Are in Place and Time,” the students became real fossil hunters. The lesson began with listening to a story about the life of dinosaurs, which helped the children learn what these extraordinary creatures looked like, how they lived, and the main theories about their extinction. They then learned who a paleontologist is, where they work, and what tools they use.The highlight of the lesson was searching for dinosaur eggs, from which the students—using special tools—extracted hidden dinosaur figures. The activity sparked great excitement, and the classroom quickly filled with whispers such as, “These are the best lessons ever!”.
