First-grade students have begun work on their fifth Unit of Inquiry, whose central idea is: “The Earth is constantly moving, and this affects our daily lives.” This is an excellent opportunity to introduce young explorers to the figure of Nicolaus Copernicus and his heliocentric theory.

The first graders went on a trip to the Kamienica Theatre, where they watched the performance “Copernicus’ Sun.”
