The Adam Statuette
The Adam Statuette is the most important and prestigious award in the school. It can be granted to anyone — a teacher, a student, a parent, or any other person — who, in an extraordinary and spectacular way, contributes to the development and strengthening of the School.
The statuette’s prototype was inspired by Adam Jajbhay, a graduate of King’s College School in London. He received his IBO Diploma in 2007. He spent his “gap year” at our School, working as a language assistant. He became known as a truly model IB graduate — exceptionally talented, hardworking, diligent, responsible, and at the same time brave in pursuing his dreams, expressing his personality in unconventional ways through performance, clothing, and music. He was also kind-hearted, helpful, warm, and eager to participate in the life of the school community.
The base of the statuette bears the inscription: “It’s good that such people exist.” The statuette was created by sculptor Piotr Śledziewski.
