A cultural week: “The languages of Art” at Monnet International School
With a great pride we are starting a cultural week “The languages of Art”. In the upcoming days we will present poetic and artistic talents of our students in a multilingual environment. We are about to demonstrate the life and works of Frédéric Chopin who would celebrate his 211th birthdays on 22nd February. Our students will present the interpretations of poems in Polish, English, German, Spanish and even Chinese during Monnet Poetry Slam. Each day will be devoted to a different language. On Friday we will announce the winner of the contest for the best translation into Polish of the selected poem of Louise Glück, an American poet and a Nobel Prize winner.
