Is a museum only about looking at paintings and quietly walking through long corridors? Nothing could be further from the truth! Our first-grade students found that out for themselves quite recently.
As part of the unit of inquiry “How We Organize Ourselves,” the first graders visited the Ethnographic Museum, where they took part in a unique cooking lesson. The session was full of laughter, conversations, and of course delicious flavors.
During the workshop, students had the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience. In a practical way, they observed how different processes and changes can transform simple ingredients into completely new dishes. It was not only a culinary adventure but also a great opportunity to discover how science works in everyday life.
