A bag of medals at the swimming pool for MONNET’s representatives!

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, the youngest swimmers and female swimmers born in 2010-2013 joined the competition in the Mokotów Championships.

At the start stood the full representation of our school in the category of girls and 3 brave boys. Already the first race – girls’ relay showed that children in lime T-shirts are in shape! The second place at the finish line of an extremely exciting race (8×25 meters – 8 girls of different ages swam in each relay) opened the competition for good, andsubsequent starts only strengthened us in the second place in Mokotów of our brave representatives in the team competition, losing only to the home team from SP 307. 11 schools took part in the competition, and none of our representatives got a place further than sixth!

-> The strength of the silver team consisted of: Michalina (3B), Ira (3A), Maja (4A), Roma (4A), Emilia (5A), Weronika (6A), Gaja (7B) and the captain – Ruby (7A).

Individual medals in the girls category were won by:

• Michalina (3B) – silver medal in the 25m backstroke
• Maja (4A) – bronze medal in 25m freestyle
• Gaja (7B) – silver medal in 50m breaststroke
• Ruby(7A)- silver medal in 50m freestyle

After the girls, the boys joined the competition, here too there was no shortage of emotions, and medals in the individual competition were won by:

• Vlad (3B) – silver medal in 25m freestyle
• Elliott (4A) – bronze medal in the 25m backstroke
• Robert (4B) took a very good 7th place in the 25m freestyle sprint competition.

It was a wonderful day! Appropriate behavior before, during and after the competition, team-spirit at the highest level and self-satisfaction among our students after the races … let’s hope there are more days like this!
