[Spring wakes softly through the trees]

Emilija Nikolenko Leckaite

Spring wakes softly through the trees,
With golden light and gentle breeze.
The flowers rise from winter’s sleep,
Their colors bright, their roots run deep.

The rivers dance with silver gleam,
Like fragments of a shining dream.
Birds sing above the emerald ground,
As life returns with every sound.

The cherry blossoms paint the sky,
White and pink as clouds drift by.
Each leaf and petal seems to say:
“The world is born again today.”

The forests breathe, the meadows glow,
Warm rains fall and fresh winds blow.
And nature, dressed in vibrant green,
Becomes the purest sight ever seen.
