Visit to the National Museum by Diploma Program students
As part of the English B course, the 1st grade of Diploma Programme together with the teacher Aleksander Jarnicki visited the National Museum. During the museum lesson in English, students learned about the greatest treasures of this place, such as sculptures from the Faras Cathedral, an altar from the Teutonic castle in Grudziądz or Jan Matejko’s “Battle of Grunwald”. There were also Sandro Botticelli and Aleksander Gierymski among the painters of the discussed masterpieces. The lesson was an opportunity for students to reflect on the topics discussed in English B: human ingenuity and identity. We would like to thank the National Museum for the perfect preparation of a very interesting lesson, and our students for their insightful questions and high manners.
