On October 21st, the day the results of the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition were announced, Monnet International School hosted a unique event, “Emotions of Pianoforte.”

As part of the “Autumn with Chopin” series, students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and sensitivity by participating in a screening of the documentary “Pianoforte,” directed by Jakub Piątek. The film provides a behind-the-scenes look at the struggles of the Chopin Competition participants.

After the screening, a discussion ensued, during which the students actively shared their reflections and emotions evoked by the film. The event concluded with workshops on understanding emotions, the role of support, and building the mental well-being of young people. These workshops also provided an opportunity to learn more about the Competition participants and their stories.Thank you for your active participation.
