Meeting with a pianist Paweł Popko
On September 29th, our school was visited by the exceptional pianist Paweł Popko. During a meeting with elementary and high school students, our guest shared behind-the-scenes experiences from the short animation “Timeless Chopin,” which was shown at the Expo in Japan. The students also learned about the pianist’s career path, his passions and interests, and his plans for the future. Finally, Mr. Paweł Popko agreed to the students’ request to perform Fryderyk Chopin’s famous Waltz in D-flat Major, Op. 64, No. 1 (“Minute Waltz”)! The event was led by teachers Kornelia Radziszewska and Aleksander Jarnicki, along with Nate Janowski from the graduating class. Thank you for such a successful and engaging meeting!
