Mokotów Badminton Championships – Success of Our Students!
Last week, the Mokotów Badminton Championships took place as part of the Warsaw Youth Olympic. This event attracted many talented young athletes, and our students showcased their best skills while competing in the categories of children, youth, and high school.
Badminton is a sport that is gaining increasing popularity. It features dynamic gameplay where players use rackets to hit a shuttlecock over a net. It requires not only physical fitness but also strategy and precision, making the competition incredibly exciting. Participants must demonstrate not only technical skills but also the ability to make quick decisions on the court.
The competition was of a very high level, and emotions were running high. Our students, full of enthusiasm and determination, gave their all, resulting in outstanding performances. 🥉🥉🥉 Special congratulations go to the boys’ team in the children’s category, who won bronze medals and the cup for our school. The boys team consisted of Bruno 3A, Mikołaj 5B and Filippo 6B. This is a greate achievement that reflects their hard work and commitment to developing their skills.
This year, the girls’ teams in the categories of children (Helena 3A, Alicja 5A and Frania 6B), youth (Wiktoria and Emilia grade 7A), and high school (Kamila and Lea- DP, Julia and Varvara – Pre DP oraz Severyn, Jeremi, Krzysztof and Borys – Pre DP).fell a bit short of luck. The girls faced much older and experienced defending district champions in their second match. The high school boys from Monnet had a strong representation at the tournament, but this time their opponents proved to be stronger.
We would like to congratulate and thank everyone who participated in the qualifiers and subsequently in the interschool competition. 🏸
We believe that successes in such events will encourage our students to continue developing their talents in badminton and other sports. Together, we can achieve even more! 💛❤️💙
