Green school – 1DP class – Chęciny

On May 4-6, after the May weekend, the 1 DP class went to a green school at the European Centre for Geological Education in Korzecko near Chęciny. The main purpose of this trip was the implementation of the Group 4 Project, which is a result of multidisciplinary collaboration of students of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. This year’s project topics were Water and Climate. The end of the project had a form of symposium when the individual groups presented their outcomes for the science teachers and colleagues.

In addition to the Group 4 Project, the Geography students completed a two-day fieldwork in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains and Visual Arts students worked on an artistic open-air.

Apart from hard work, there were also attractions. On the second day of the trip the students went for a nature walk in the picturesque surroundings of the resort, during which they visited the Raj Cave and the Camp of Neanderthal family. Everyone returned to Warsaw in a good mood.
