and meeting new people again...

from the times when the school was being established.

We have been present for over fifteen years... everything began when a few imaginative people met together in despair to set up a secondary school. Nothing but several heated discussions and meetings of these people made them come to an agreement on the vision and establish the Liceum in 1992.

In order to establish the school there certainly had to meet Hanna Buśkiewicz-Piskorska and Agata Wroczyńska, its founders. Both of them had been teaching in a state school - Hanna had been a Polish teacher, Agata a librarian. Both of them had been fed up with not only restrictions and formality of the state school, but also its incidental educational methods and low efficiency. Both of them had been dreaming of the school "with the human touch", student - friendly and parallely meritorious. The final decision was taken thanks to their families' and friends' support.

Jerzy Piskorski, Hanna's husband, as soon as a year earlier he had set up his own, prosperous at the time, firm. Jerzy served Hanna with advice and support when she was setting up the school. He has been assisting the development of the school and has always summonned up the courage in turning points.

Tomasz Wroczyński PhD, Agata's husband, a Polish teacher. Tomasz has written several syllabuses and coursebooks for secondary schools. He helped to find the best teaching staff for the school and was fully cooperative on its programme preparation. Thanks to his enthusiastic engagement the school has reached high educational standards.

Maciej Jędrusik PhD, a Geography teacher. Maciej has been teaching in our school since it was established, first as a Geography teacher. Then he started teaching Contemporary World Problems using his own authorised syllabus. Thanks to his classes our students get to such University Departments as Law, Social and Political Sciences.

Małgorzata Czerkawska, a psychologist. Małgorzata and Hanna's discussions resulted in the idea of the Educational Programme for the school altogether with the assumptions for the Violence and Addiction Prophylaxis Programme.
